Vinit Sambre of DSP Mutual Fund has outlined his top investment themes for 2026, pointing to opportunities while advising caution on certain asset classes. He expects the real estate sector to pick up pace as new launches recover, especially among stronger developers, after a relatively softer 2025.
However, Sambre is cautious on precious metals, noting that gold and silver valuations appear expensive relative to their long-term averages. “With limited upside and a weak margin of safety, we would avoid making fresh, aggressive allocations,” he said, signaling that investors should prioritize more reasonably priced or fundamentally strong assets over chasing recent gains in bullion.
